Program Details and Goals
- Purpose: To equip women entrepreneurs with knowledge, skills, and tools to start or scale businesses while fostering gender equity and economic participation.
- Objectives:
- Provide training to increase confidence and skills, leading to business registration or growth within six months for at least 50% of participants.
- Promote the use of digital tools, with 90% of participants adopting at least two tools (e.g., e-commerce, financial software).
- Enhance awareness of business opportunities, resulting in 90% of participants applying for at least one within three months.
- Build capacity to apply for funding, with 50% securing approval for grants or investments.
Funding Information
- Award Amount: $25,000 to $35,000.
- Project Duration: 6-12 months.
- Number of Awards: 1.
Target Audience
- Women aged 18-45 from GBAO or Khatlon regions.
- Participants with high school or university degrees, 1-2 years of business experience, and leadership or volunteering backgrounds.
- Intermediate computer skills and some English proficiency are preferred.
Eligibility
- Non-profit organizations, civil society/non-governmental organizations, and public/private educational institutions are eligible.
- For-profit entities are ineligible.
